BRITANY BELCZAK - Miss Teen Columbus
Awarded the Title of
2004 MISS TEEN OHIO INTERNATIONAL®
Toledo This weekend the Miss Teen Ohio® International Competition was held at the Center For Fine and Performing Arts located on the campus of Owens Community College. The city delegates gathered from all corners of the state to compete in Interview, Fun Fashion Wear, Physical Fitness, On-stage Platform Issue Presentation (a cause that she will champion as Miss Teen Ohio®) and Evening Gown Competition. After the final competition Miss Belczak, an honor student at Gahanna Christian Academy, was awarded the title of Miss Teen Ohio® 2004.
On Saturday evening the performance finished with Jenny Hummel, Miss Teen Fostoria winning the 2004 Community Service Award, Britany Belczak, Miss Teen Columbus capturing the “Health & Fitness Award”.
Carrie will be a senior at the Gahanna Christian Academy this fall. Miss Belczak volunteers at the Sunrise Senior Center, for the Salvation Army, Adventures for Wish Kids and is a Vacation Bible School teacher. She is listed in Who’s Who of American High School Students. She will represent the Buckeye State at the 2004 Miss Teen International® competition at the North Shore Center of the Performing Arts in the Chicago suburb of Skokie. As Miss Teen Ohio® , Britany, will continue to focus her efforts on her platform “Bridging the Generation Gap by Serving Senior Citizens”.
